MetaMask: Ethereum Browser Extension
MetaMask is an extension for your browser that allows you to view the Ethereum blockchain right from your browser. The extension allows users to execute Ethereum transactions directly within the browser.
How does it work?
MetaMask extends Ethereum’s Web3 API to any Javascript context. This means that when you open a webpage, the extension can access the blockchain information. The information includes the Ethereum addresses and associated balances, the Ethereum address of each wallet, the balance of the contract address, and the number of transactions performed.
When a user registers, a wallet is automatically created in his MetaMask Client. From there, the user can move tokens among addresses, make withdrawals and transfers, and move money between wallets.
